Supporting emerging Wagnerian performers from NSW

One recent recipient of support from the Wagner Society in NSW Inc is dramatic soprano Laura Scandizzo for her performance of ‘Liebestod’ from Wagner’s ‘Tristan und Isolde’ in Sydney University Symphony Orchestra’s Music for the Stage Concert on Saturday 25 May 2025, conducted by Luke Spicer. You can view her performance in Part 2 of the concert here, as well as the Prelude to ‘Tristan und Isolde’ and Tchaikovski’s ‘Swan Lake Suite’.

Supporting Melbourne Opera

In 2021 and 2022, the Wagner Society donated four Wagner tubas to Melbourne Opera for its production of the ‘Ring Cycle’.
