ABOUT MARGARET PLUMMER

WSNSW supported Mezzo-Soprano Margaret Plummer will talk to us about her experience singing in Parsifal at Bayreuth. She sang the roles of Flower-maiden and Squire in 2023 and 2024, and will repeat them again this year. We last heard her as Flosshilde in Das Rheingold (2023) and Siegrune in Die Walküre in November by the SSO conducted by Simone Young, and as Prince Charming in OA’s Cendrillon in January/February. Margaret is based in Vienna and on 22 April gave her final performance as Adelaide in Strauss’ Arabella at the Wiener Staatsoper.
