Deborah Humble, a Society member and who the Wagner Society in NSW sponsored for the 2013 Melbourne Ring will be singing the Wesendonk Lieder at the Independent Theatre, 5th March, her associate artist is Bradley Gilchrist commencing at 7.30 pm.

To mark the Brisbane concert performances of Wagner's Das Rheingold by the Hamburg State Opera and the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Simone Young, an all-day Symposium devoted to Das Rheingold will be held in the Conservatorium Theatre in Brisbane's South Bank arts precinct on 24 August 2012.

Adam Player, who has performed several times for the Society, is leaving for the UK to study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Jonathan Alley, who will also be studying at RNCM, and Alan will be putting on a fundraising concert at the Paddington Uniting Church on Thursday August 12 at 6.30pm, accompanied by Sharolyn Kimmorley AM. Adam and John will have some amazing guest artists singing with them, including Glenn Winslade, Amanda Thane and Taryn Fiebig.
